I would give a 5 but the bar was closed at night. Many cafes walkable. Priced reasonably. Toiletries in the room include dental care, razor, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Large shower. Safe and mini bar. Elevator.

This was a great hotel with a big comfy bed and plenty of amenities in the room, breakfast had a wide variety of foods to choose from. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.

A lovely boutique hotel located in the centre of Trieste, close to restaurants, shops, the port, railway station and retail shops. Greeted by friendly and helpfull staff. A wonderful changing breakfast is served each day with Illy coffee or tea. The larger than normal rooms are tastefully finished and furnished with very comfortable beds.

Amazing Hotel in Trieste, Italy! Great location, comfortable room and amazing balcony! Breakfast? Nice! Not too much too choose, but all delicious. Parking was solved by a nearby garage. Staff was kind, helpful also speak English well. Definitely worth a visit!

We really loved our one night stay at Hotel Solun. Lovely, spacious room with high ceiling and thick stone walls. Large walk-in rain shower, huge comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Delicious Continental breakfast with delightful Illy cappuccino prepared us for the road. We will definitely stay in Hotel Solun again when we return to Trieste and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Four star hotel that gets only three stars from me, and that's because the room was very dark, towels worn out, and for those who came later for breakfast there was almost nothing left.
